A founding partner of Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, Tjahjadi also heads the firm's finance practice.
With extensive experience in high-profile and sophisticated capital markets and financing transactions, he is well respected among multinational financial institutions and leading domestic companies in Indonesia.
"I am honoured to take on the role as managing partner, and hope to contribute to the firm's ongoing success and growth," said Tjahjadi.
"Despite the difficulties of the past year, our people and clients have helped the firm not only survive but to thrive. I look forward to even greater growth during a very busy period for Indonesian business and investment."
His appointment comes as Iril Hiswara, founder and current managing partner of Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, prepares to retire from the partnership in December 2021.
"As one of the founders of the firm, Iril has nurtured a small start-up of eight partners and lawyers in 2000 into Indonesia’s leading commercial law firm, 70 lawyers strong," said Tjahjadi.
