Back to topLeading Indonesian law firm Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung has announced its largest ever round of senior associate promotions as part of its ongoing expansion.
The investment follows several years of record client demand and the firm's regular involvement in headline corporate, capital market and finance transactions. It further strengthens the firm’s sought-after service to top international and local clients.
Six promotions have been made across the firm’s corporate, capital markets and finance practices, and five of them are women.
"We have ambitious plans, and successful expansion depends on a solid and talented pipeline of lawyers. These talented lawyers reflect both our traditional strengths as a firm and through our ever-growing association with Herbert Smith Freehills in Asia and beyond," said HBT managing partner Tjahjadi Bunjamin.

Those being promoted to senior associate level from 1 July 2022 are:
- Astri Widita (corporate/M&A) – Senior Associate
- Brandon Van Slyke (corporate/M&A) – Senior Consultant
- Defina Rosa (finance) – Senior Associate
- Hanny (finance) – Senior Associate
- Ivina Suwana (corporate/capital markets) – Senior Associate
- Maydiba Thandi (corporate/M&A) – Senior Associate
These promotions follow HBT’s announcement of four new partners and one new counsel in April 2022.
