Paskalia is a Senior Associate (effective 1 July 2023) in our top-ranked energy and infrastructure practice in Jakarta. She has extensive experience in the oil and gas, energy and natural resources, power, construction and infrastructure sectors. 

Paskalia is part of Herbert Smith Freehills’ global energy and infrastructure practice, and has spent time on secondment with the Indonesian subsidiary of a Japanese trading house providing general Indonesian corporate and foreign investment regulatory advice.

Paskalia's experience includes advising:

• PetroChina and Petronas in relation to the successful sale of a 12% participating interest in the operating Jabung PSC to an Indonesian investment company
• LG Energy Solutions in relation to its investment into a nickel mine and smelting project through a joint venture company comprised of international Korean and Chinese investors with ANTAM and IBC, in Halmahera
• a regional data centre developer on its proposed development, construction and financing of a data centre project, including land acquisition, in Indonesia
• Kansai Electric Power Company in relation to its strategic alliance with Medco Power to jointly develop new gas-fired power plants and expand their geothermal power plant operation and maintenance business in Indonesia
• Road King on its successful acquisition of a 39.77% interest in the Semarang-Batang Trans Java Toll through a competitive tender offer process from PT Waskita Karya
